On Wednesday, May 7th, 2025, Hidetaka Nakamura, the representative of SocialCompass, together with our intern Daiki Kashima, had the pleasure of conducting a class for the junior high students at the Phnom Penh Japanese School.

The theme of the class was learning about design, using the school\u2019s mascot \u201cCoconut Dancers\u201d as inspiration.<\/div>\n
Originally, we were approached with a request to designworks using the mascot. However, we thought, \u201cWouldn\u2019t it be more meaningful if the students created it together with us?\u201d So we proposed turning it into a workshop instead.

The students surprised us with an incredible variety of unique and creative ideas. We\u2019re truly excited to see how the character will evolve from here.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In this age where AI is becoming more and more accessible, we\u2019re moving from an era of \u201ccreating perfection alone\u201d to one where \u201cwe shape ideas together.\u201d This experience reminded us just how powerful and meaningful collaboration can be.
